Järfälla Dagliga Verksamhet is now looking for a support assistant with a heart in the right place.

At Järfälla Dagliga Verksamhet (JDV), we work to create meaningful and developing days for approximately 175 participants. We are now looking for someone who wants to support participants in tasks related to crafts and nature services – where we together provide services to other municipal operations while strengthening the individual's independence and participation in society. The workgroup currently consists of 10 participants and 2 staff members and has a close collaboration with a nearby operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will be an important piece of the puzzle in our participants' daily lives. You will support individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities in the tasks that need to be performed. Together with colleagues, you will create routines and working methods that are tailored to each individual, always focusing on safety, structure, and development.

You will be part of a competent, dedicated team that works with clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses. It is essential that you are attentive and present in the social interactions throughout the workday. Documentation according to IBIC, collaboration with relatives, and being a responsive adult who sees opportunities in every situation are all natural parts of our daily routine.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has relevant education in child and youth studies, care, and social services or equivalent
• has experience in daily activities according to LSS
• feels comfortable with IBIC and the documentation system Lifecare
• is a good team player who can also make independent decisions
• has a warm demeanor, patience, and a solution-focused attitude

A driver's license (B) with good driving experience is required, and experience driving with a trailer is an advantage.
